'The working farm " Tenuta Poggio alla Farnia" in
Fauglia, Pisa has 10 hectors of land on the pisan hills. The
land is made up from red, stony soil. The position and soil
are fundamental quality necessary for the vines growing there.
The farm produces wine and oil. La Vigna Rosso is a mix of
grapes from San Giovese di Montepulciano, Cannaiolo, Cherry
and Malvasia.

Il Vigneto Bianco is based on Malvasia and Trebbiano. The
wine is still made according to local tradition and customs
following the fermentation of the grapes. We have a good table
wine, Farniolo, ruby coloured with a rounded, full taste. This
wine best accompanies traditional, tasty meat dishes. White
Farniolo has a classic hay and amber colour, with a delicate
flavour and malvasia perfume

'The juice is made using the cold method and due to its
level of acidity is perfect for bruschetta and eating raw on
salads. The fields yield artichokes, tomatoes, and many other
vegetables; we also grow our own potatoes. When Paola cooks
them, they're great and everybody wants them! The bees make
our honey in various flavours. We also make our own white
Grappa from our vineyards. The hen farm grantees that our
chicken and eggs are always genuine and fresh
